Stephen Hollis | Salon Director
Stephen began his hairdressing career many years ago on the Goring parade where he trained at Anthony Michael’s. He started his own business 38 years ago in Crescent Road. He relocated the salon to Goring Road in August 2005 and changed the name to shh… since then it has gone from strength to strength. He loves all aspects of hairdressing especially creative cutting, colouring and hair for weddings and proms.
Sandra Wakeham | Salon Manager
Sandra has been working with Stephen for nearly 36 years. Since moving with him to shh… she has continued to be an integral part of the team and is now running the salon on a day-to-day basis as Salon Manager. Sandra loves colouring and has extensive L’Oreal colour training, Sandra specialises in hair-up and so is one of the shh… prom queens…!!
Emma Jayne Parker | Senior Stylist
Emma has been hairdressing for over 18 years and joined us in August 2024. She has a wealth of experience in both Hairdressing & Barbering and is looking forward to supporting the diverse shh… clientele.
Izzy Hansell | Stylist
Izzy joined the salon in June 2021 and has proven to be a great asset to the team. She brings a wealth of creative colour experience helping to brighten our client’s salon experience.
Grace Prinn | Junior Stylist
Grace is currently the youngest member of the team, qualifying this year, she is our Junior Stylist. Grace trained locally whilst being the salon Saturday girl here at shh… Grace is already an integral part of the team and is working hard to build up her clientele.
Cindy Price | Salon Assistant
Cindy has been hairdressing since leaving school and joined the team at shh… in 2012 having known Stephen for 30 years!!
Tessa Blewett | Salon Assistant
Tessa enjoys the diverse challenges of working in the busy salon environment here at shh… welcome our clients and always making a superb coffee or tea!!
